Technical discovery
Review the problem, current implementation, constraints, and unknowns. Agree on the decision or working outcome the engagement should produce.
TestLauncher brings software development and technical consulting to Canadian companies tackling difficult engineering problems. Use an engagement to investigate uncertainty, make a technical decision, or implement a defined part of your product.
These are starting points for discovery. The work and deliverables are agreed around your requirements.
Review the problem, current implementation, constraints, and unknowns. Agree on the decision or working outcome the engagement should produce.
Scope a prototype, integration, or implementation increment. Define interfaces, review points, and ownership so the work fits the wider product.
Plan testing and acceptance around meaningful risks. Agree on documentation, knowledge transfer, maintenance responsibilities, and the next steps before handover.
An illustrative starting point: a clean technology team has a working prototype but needs to connect device data to a reliable software workflow. A focused engagement could investigate an integration risk, implement a bounded slice, and document the evidence for the next release decision.
This is a scoping example, not a client case study or a released product.
Describe the problem, constraints, and the decision or working result you need. Agree on what is in scope and what remains uncertain.
Select a bounded investigation or implementation increment. Establish acceptance criteria and review the evidence together.
Use what we learn to plan implementation, handover, or further investigation. Agree on ownership, operations, and support before expanding the work.
Development, consulting, and managed testing engagements are available today. Manual Testing is an established service and consultancy, active for over 10 years. bugAgent is available for software quality; its conversational capabilities are in active development and not yet released. See the portfolio and current statuses.
TestLauncher is Canadian-owned. Hosting locations, data flows, access, and residency requirements are agreed for each offering and engagement. Canadian ownership does not mean every system runs exclusively in Canada. Read Security & Trust.
We focus on Canadian innovators and also welcome international organizations seeking specialized technology and expertise.
Yes. An engagement can begin with a specific technical question or feasibility assessment. The initial scope should be useful even if the right next step is to change direction or avoid a larger build.
They can be scoped together when that fits the work. Manual Testing services are available today, and bugAgent is our available quality platform. Any platform use is assessed against the project’s needs.
These are defined in the engagement agreement after discovery. A general service page is not a fixed-price package, delivery commitment, or blanket promise about ownership and ongoing support.
TestLauncher helps Canadian innovators plan and build software platforms around specialized workflows, devices, and data. Start with the technical problem, then scope the architecture, integrations, and implementation needed to solve it.
Explore custom software platforms →TestLauncher offers custom operating-system engineering engagements for innovators whose technology has specific device, integration, or operational requirements. We begin by identifying what the system must do and whether an existing foundation can meet that need.
